One Shot, One Story is a youth-led 501(c)(3) using storytelling, technology, and organizing to confront America's gun violence epidemic — and to make sure the people behind the numbers are never forgotten.

Origin Story

Two mall shootings — close to home, weeks apart — shook our founding team awake.

We sat with survivors and grieving families, and heard the same thing again and again: please don't let them be forgotten.

This is a generation raised on lockdown drills. The fight had to belong to us, too.

We registered as a 501(c)(3) — not a moment, a movement built to last.

Today, we humanize the epidemic through storytelling, technology, and youth-led organizing.
