2026 Summer Internship

Do the work. Build the proof.

An 8-week youth-led program — June 17 to August 5 — for students drawn to law, politics, public service, and gun violence prevention.

Why join

The work is real. So is what you take from it.

01

A crisis that's ours

Gun violence is one of the most urgent issues facing our generation. This is how you take real action on it.

02

Verified hours

We're a registered 501(c)(3) and can approve volunteer hours, plus President's Volunteer Service Awards once they resume.

03

A real capstone

End the program with a capstone project in your own city or state that produces tangible impact.

04

A national movement

Your local work gets national reach, credibility, and mentorship connections.

05

A path to leadership

Step into the OSOS National Team through the inaugural fellows program, or as a Chapter Founder and Leader.
